About Corto AI

Corto AI was born out of necessity. In the course of building our own AI applications, we found the process of evaluating the profusion of LLMs to be tremendously complicated and that the best model for the job changed frequently. We developed the technology behind Corto to address our own needs in building and performing the ongoing maintenance of our AI applications in production. We believe strongly in the value of our tools and are releasing them to help additional companies deliver their own AI applications with confidence.

Casey Haakenson
Casey has shown repeatedly that he can make numbers move, especially when he's contributing to a startup. He founded Roost Inc., took it through YCombinator, and successfully sold it to BounceExchange (now Wunderkind). As an early employee at Marco Polo, he has held leadership roles in engineering, product, and growth, helping the company grow to its current large and monetized user base. Starting his career at F5 Networks informed his view of the internet and data. Seeing the massive data flow underlying the internet he learned about working at scale.
